How it works

IPW follows a predictable yearly rhythm. Exact dates change by cohort, but the logic stays the same.

April

Student selection

In April, the IPW team reviews applications and selects students for the cohort.

October 5-9, 2026

Kick-off week in Prague

The Prague part starts on Monday, October 5, 2026, and runs through Friday. During the week, students meet their teams and tutors, join team-building activities, attend partner presentations, visit companies, prepare and validate action plans, and finish with a farewell party.

From October 12, 2026

Online teamwork and mentoring

From mid-October onward, teams work online every week, with a dedicated training session and regular collaboration with academic and company mentors.

Week of November 2, 2026

Mid-term review

In the week of November 2, 2026, each team meets with its partner company to review progress, confirm direction, and exchange feedback.

Late semester

Results preparation

About one week before the final presentations, teams meet with mentors to check the coherence and readiness of their results.

December 7-11, 2026

Project Showcase Week in Gorlitz

Starting Monday, December 7, 2026, teams gather in Gorlitz for partner visits, final jury presentations, and closing feedback.

Typical Deliverables

A final report (analysis + recommendations) and presentation deck, plus optional supporting materials (frameworks, roadmaps, concept proposals, or methodology notes).
