Practical information for the Prague kick-off, transport, accommodation, and social programme.

In Prague

Where it starts

We start in Respirium at CIIRC, CTU in Prague.

České vysoké učení technické v Praze

Český institut informatiky, robotiky a kybernetiky

Room RESPIRIUM

Jugoslávských partyzánů 1580/3

160 00 Praha 6, Dejvice

There will be signs from the entrance guiding you upstairs via the glass staircase. Respirium is at the top of those stairs.

How to get there

By car

We have three reserved parking spaces: 12, 13, and 14. Please contact us if you need parking.

By public transport

Please use Google Maps for the best current public transport connection to CIIRC / CTU in Prague.

Public transport

You need a valid ticket when travelling on Prague public transport, including the metro, buses, and trams. You can buy tickets:

Validate a paper ticket before entering the metro paid area or immediately after boarding a tram or bus, unless it is already issued with a validity time. With an app or SMS ticket, make sure the ticket is valid before you travel.

If you plan to explore Prague more extensively, we recommend a 24-hour or 72-hour ticket, or a longer-term pass, instead of buying individual tickets for each journey.

If you need help buying a ticket, ask one of the Czech participants or organisers — they will be happy to help.

Where to stay

Masaryk Dormitory

We recommend: Masaryk Dormitory
